We have been developing our Angus herd for over 50 years, and Angus is our only business. Like our customers, we expect consistency and top productivity from our cowherd.

Hosted on the farm every March, our LLB Annual Spring Spectacular Bull & Female Sale is Canada’s largest Angus production sale. It is always gratifying to see our many customers have successes with LLB purchases, whether it is a winning show heifer or progeny from our bulls topping the commercial calf markets.
Our 800-head cow herd is managed in large groups, from calving until sale time. Calves are turned out with their mothers in breeding pastures as soon as grass is available and are allowed to grow and develop without extra attention until after weaning.

Our breeding philosophy is simple: acquire the best herd sires available – selecting for performance, growth and thickness – while maintaining structural soundness and strong maternal traits. With this approach we have been able to produce large sire groups that are uniform and very functional.
